DARWIN, Australia - Rangers in Kakadu National Park, Australia say a tourist was pulled off a boat by a crocodile Saturday
The 52-year-old man was with his wife, son and daughter-in-law when he was attacked and dragged into the water at about 5 p.m. local time, according to local reports.
A search was launched to find the man and the park said they have "grave fears" for his safety.
Minister for Parks and Wildlife Bess Price said her thoughts are with the family and friends at this time, as well as the NT police and park rangers who are undertaking the search and investigation.
Kakadu National Park is located 240 kilometers east of Darwin. in Australia’s tropical north. Kakadu is Australia’s largest terrestrial national park.
