If you hate your job, you’ve got company.
A new state of the workplace report by Gallup found 70 percent of employees are either "disengaged" from their jobs or outright hate them.
Only 30 percent of workers surveyed said they enjoy their jobs and like their bosses.
The report estimates that widespread disinterest and unhappiness in the office are not only affecting company performance, but is costing the U.S. $450 billion to $550 billion a year in lost productivity.
Gallup CEO Jim Clifton says some workers “roam the halls spreading discontent.”
Unhappy workers blamed poor management and bosses who ignore talent and don't cultivate growth.
