ORANGE, Calif. - One city in California wants to make sure its kids are ready for the zombie apocalypse, or someone is just really creative.
The City of Orange's Parks and Recreation Department is offering a kids' program this June called "Zombie Survival Camp."
"Zombies are getting ready to invade and it's up to you to survive!" the camp description says online. "Learn the necessary survival skills to avoid becoming a member of the walking dead."
Survivor skills do not come cheap. Parents will have to pay $135 for the five-day camp and another $10 to the instructor on the first day.
However, while the city wants its kids to survive, not many will get the skills. There's only room for 25 kids in the camp.
The brochure doesn't list what activities will be involved, but we're thinking cardio, cardio, cardio! (Remember to limber up!)
And if your kids are 13 years or older, or under seven, they may just have to become zombie food. The camp is only for 7-12 year olds.
To make sure campers don't turn on each other during class, the printed brochure says campers should bring water and snacks with them.
