LOS ANGELES - A UCLA football player is recorded on video proposing to his girlfriend after a game to the delight of his teammates.
After 60 minutes of football, the No. 13 ranked UCLA Bruins beat the Washington Huskies 41-31 in front of their home crowd at the Rose Bowl.
So how did the team celebrate by improving to an 8-2 record on a Friday night? By watching one of their teammates propose to his girlfriend.
Bruins senior linebacker/safety Stan McKay brought his girlfriend to the middle of the field, dropped down to a knee and popped the question.
What made it better was that his teammates and even his head coach Jim Mora were circling around McKay and his girlfriend with their cell phones in hand recording the proposal.
A few seconds later, the young woman who wasn’t named, said “Yes!”
The crowd around the soon-to-be married couple went wild. Definitely a moment that nobody around will ever forget.
