DENVER – The two red panda cubs born last summer at the Denver Zoo need new names! Unfortunately, you won’t be able to name them Panda McPandaFace. #SorryNotSorry, internet.

The Denver Zoo on Thursday opened up a voting competition, asking the public to name their male red panda cubs born on August 27.

You can choose from the following names:

  • Oolong and Chai (types of tea)
  • Pabu and Sabal (Pabu means “puffball” in Tibetan and Sabal means “Strong One" and is a name of Indian origin)
  • Eli and Peyton (we don’t really have to say why, do we? #TeamManning)

The Zoo has given Denverites until October 26 to cast their vote. The winning names will be announced on the Zoo’s social media pages not long after, so stay tuned.
