FINDLEY, Ohio - An Ohio waitress says she was fired for a rant she wrote on Facebook about customer's not tipping well.
Kirsten Kelly said she got upset when several customers spent more than $50, but tipped her less than $6.
One of the customers went to school with Kelly, saw the post and told Kelly's boss at Texas Roadhouse.
The restaurant fired Kelly.
"I mean, I knew that they could have yelled at me for that, but I didn't think they could fire me for posting that," Kelly said.
Gawker.com said Texas Roadhouse claims there was more to the post, and that Kelly was fired for calling the customer "a derogatory name" and for referring to the restaurant on social media, which is against company policy.
