Selfies causing spread of head lice? Expert says head bumping in selfie pictures may be culprit

The next time you want to take a selfie with your friend, you may want to think twice.

At least, that's what Mary McQuillan, a lice-treatment expert in California, would want you to do.  

CNET reports that McQuillan says she has seen an increase in lice among young people and that the main culprit, she thinks, is more head bumping for a good selfie picture. 

"Every teen I've treated, I ask about selfies, and they admit that they are taking them every day," McQuillan told CNET.
