After Sunday's victory over the Carolina Panthers, it's not just Broncos fans who can't get over Peyton Manning and his now famous "Omaha" call.
Singer-songwriter Chris Thile, host of American Public Media's "A Prairie Home Companion," performed an ode to Manning during Saturday's program.
“Omaha is not only a lovely city in Nebraska,” Thile said as he introduced the song, “but also a word Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning often shouts for no apparent reason.”
And so was born "Omahallelujah."
The song makes references to Papa John's pizza, Manning's injuries during the 2016 football season, a scandal linking Peyton to human growth hormone and his partnership with Nationwide Insurance.
