CHICAGO - An Illinois man has had quite a streak of luck, winning three lotto games in three weeks.
Christopher Kaelin, 31, won a total of $276,000 from scratch offs he bought from a Chicago gas station.
His run of luck started at the beginning of April when he won $25,000.
"My fiancé and I were so thrilled we went out for dinner to celebrate," he said "When we stopped at a gas station afterward, I decided to buy another Crossword instant ticket and won $1,000!"
The next week, he Kaelin went back to the same gas station to buy another scratch-off ticket and thought he'd won $25,000. It turned out he was wrong -- he actually won $250,000.
"I never expected to win - especially not three times!" Kaelin said in a press release.
Kaelin said he plans to use the winnings to buy a house, pay off his student loans and pay for his wedding next spring.
