Vail bike path still closed by deep snow

VAIL, Colo. - Despite the near record temperatures in the metro area, the mountains are still dealing with deep snow.

The Colorado Department of Transportation released a photo of the Vail Bike Path this week showing the snow is still two to three feet deep.

"Our crews are doing their best to clear snow, ice, rocks, mud, etc. from the path after late winter weather, but it's not safe to ride yet," CDOT said in a message to cyclists.
