A Parachute woman has pleaded guilty to child abuse that caused the death of her month-old daughter.
The Glenwood Springs Post Independent reports Phyllis "Amy" Wyatt entered her plea Friday for the June 20 death of her daughter, Sarah, who had a bruised liver and a fractured skull.
Sarah's father, Matthew Ogden, also is charged in the case.
Police say Wyatt told them Ogden violently shook the baby overnight, but Wyatt did not get out of bed. The two skipped town before arrest warrants were issued but were arrested a short time later in Minnesota.
Jail records do not indicate if Ogden has hired an attorney. Wyatt is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 12.
