Authorities say a 46-year-old man reported missing from a facility that serves adults with developmental disabilities has been found dead in an irrigation ditch in Chaffee County.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports that deputies found Robert Pittman dead in Salida on Wednesday morning. Sheriff John Spezze says it is unclear how the man died.
Pittman had been reported missing from the Starpoint facility the night before his body was found.
The incident remains under investigation.
