A wild party ended with the stabbing of one the attendees early Sunday morning in Larimer County, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Timothy Michael Mayo, 18, was among the 70 people who were at the party in the 2800 block of Paradise Park Road in Bellvue.

At around 1:00 a.m., deputies responded to the area after getting reports that someone had been stabbed during a fight near the exit of the property. Once at the scene, they were able to find a 22-year-old male victim who had been stabbed in the back.

The victim was taken to a hospital with serious bodily injuries; his condition remains unknown at this time. Mayo, on the other hand, was taken into custody for the stabbing following his interview and that of other witnesses, according to a press release from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

He was booked into the Larimer County Jail on charges of first-degree assault.

This is an ongoing investigation.
