PUEBLO, Colo. - A crime spree in Pueblo ended with a car crash and more than 60 stolen guns strewn across Interstate 25 Friday morning.
Deputies said they were initially called to a home invasion robbery in Pueblo County at 5:30 a.m.
When deputies arrived, they found the suspect's truck on fire and the suspects gone. They apparently fled in the victim's truck, KRDO-TV reported.
Minutes later, deputies said they spotted the stolen truck and chased it onto I-25.
During the chase, a deputy spun the stolen truck, causing the truck to crash and roll, spilling guns and other items stolen in the home invasion, according to KRDO-TV.
Two suspects were taken to the hospital and are facing numerous charges.
No one was hurt during the home invasion, KRDO-TV reported.
It's not clear if all the weapons came from that single home. Police also did not say if the suspects knew the victims, nor how they knew about the cache of weapons in the home.
