ASPEN, Colo. - Aspen officials are considering changing city laws to allow bicyclists to yield at stop signs and cruise on through.
State and local laws currently require cyclists to stop at stop signs, following the same laws that apply to motorists.
According to the Aspen Times, assistant police chief Bill Linn says the approach is working in other states, including Idaho, which changed its law allowing cyclists the option to yield about 30 years ago.
