COSTILLA COUNTY, Colo. --- A southern Colorado commissioner has been cited with harassment and first-degree official misconduct following an alleged sexual harassment incident last month.
The Costilla County Sheriff's Office was contacted by an employee of the Costilla County Department of Social Services regarding a report of sexual harassment on June 13.
After a thorough investigation by the Costilla County Sheriff's Office, Costilla County Commissioner Augustine Roy Esquibel was cited with harassment and first-degree official misconduct.
