Rollover Crash Closes 6th Ave. Ramp To I-25

A deadly rollover crash closed the ramp from eastbound 6th Avenue to Interstate 25 for nearly three hours Sunday morning.

Denver Police Detective John White said a man driving a Chrysler Sebring was exiting eastbound 6th Avenue when he lost control and hit the barrier between the entrance ramps to northbound and southbound I-25 just after 9 a.m. The car rolled and landed on its roof.

Firefighters were called out to help remove the victim from the vehicle.

Officers are still investigating what caused the crash.

The ramp from eastbound 6th Avenue to I-25 reopened just after 11:30 a.m.
