Porn Accidentally Shown On Springs ABC Channel

Comcast Says Technical Glitch Switched Channel

Comcast viewers in Colorado Springs got more than they bargained for between 4:15 a.m. until roughly after 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The signal on KRDO NewsChannel 13, an ABC affiliate, was bumped off for programming that included porn, infomercials, and a billboard explaining that they were having technical difficulties.

Comcast spokeswoman Cindy Parsons apologized for the glitch saying, "In the process of correcting a technical system issue, a series of channels were inadvertently shown live on KRDO during the morning programming. The issue was a result of human error which has been resolved and preventative measures have been taken to avoid this from happening in the future."

KRDO General Manager Tim Larson said, "Obviously we are just as upset as they are that this happened. Everyone has technical problems. This is a technical business. However, to have something like this happen, obviously, it's extremely upsetting."
