University of Denver warns of debate ticket scams

DENVER - Advertisements offering to buy or sell tickets to the presidential debate next week are a scam, the University of Denver said.
Tickets for the presidential debate at the University of Denver cannot be purchased or sold. They are not available to the general public and are only open to invited guests.
DU said that students who are given a ticket will not be able to transfer it to someone else. Identification will be checked at the door.
