SWAT officers respond to home where shooting suspect may be barricaded in north Denver, police say

Man was shot, critcally wounded on Wednesday night

DENVER - SWAT officers have been called to a north Denver home where a shooting suspect maybe barricaded early Thursday morning.

Denver Police spokesman John White said just before midnight that someone who may have been involved in the shooting was believed to be holed up in a home in the 3000 block of Hudson Street. SWAT officers were called to the home. 

The SWAT incident was just two blocks from where a man was shot and critically wounded about about 8:40 p.m. at East 38th Avenue and Grape Street, police said. The victim was rushed to a hospital.
