Denver police are looking for the driver who fled the scene of an early Sunday morning hit-and-run accident involving a car and a bicyclist.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of the accident at Lincoln Street and Speer Boulevard.

Lincoln Street at Sixth Avenue was closed while police are looking for the driver, who is possibly dragging the victims bike under his or her vehicle.

The victim was transported to the hospital. There has been no information released on the victims condition.

Investigators are at the hospital trying to get more information on the driver.
