Pedestrian Hit By Car In Westminster

Police Say Driver Had a Medical Condition

A pedestrian was sent to the hospital Wednesday morning after being hit by a car on Sheridan Boulevard.

Westminster police said the driver of the car had a medical problem at the time of the incident.

The pedestrian suffered only minor injuries, said Cheri Spottke of the Westminster Police Department.

The crash happened along Sheridan between 72nd and 73rd streets.

Police said the driver and vehicle were found down the street. Because the driver had a medical condition, the crash is not being considered a hit-and-run, Spottke said.
