Parker Warns Barking Dogs Will Cost $500

City Has Hotline For Neighbor Complaints

The city of Parker is reminding residents to keep an eye on their dogs because the fine for excessive barking could cost up to $500.

"As the weather warms up, pets are outside more frequently. With this comes the potential for barking or howling dogs to become a neighborhood nuisance," a city spokesperson said in a news release.

Residents who have a problem with a neighbor's dog barking are asked to resolve the situation with the neighbor first. If that doesn't work, residents can call police and report a noise complaint.
