BERTHOUD, Colo. — A Colorado developer is building a solution to the affordable housing issue by offering new homes for under $300,000.

David Gregg is the founder of Mission Homes. He says he is building homes for those left behind in Colorado’s tight housing market

To sell the homes at unheard of prices, some concessions have to be made.

The homes will be between 950 TO 1,200 square feet, which are the same size as homes back in the 1950s.

Mission Homes Colorado will break ground this summer.
