Missing Rio Blanco boy found

Copter, search dogs requested to help in search

DENVER - A 7-year-old boy missing in Rio Blanco County has been found, according to the sheriff's office.

The Rio Blanco County Sheriff's Office said the boy went missing around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Dry Creek area off of County Road 8.

He was last seen walking his blue merle dog named Lexie.

He was found about six hours later.

The sheriff's office said search and rescue crews, search dogs and a helicopter helped in the search.
