One man found alive in days-old truck crash that killed his friend

PUEBLO, Colo. - A truck accident that went undiscovered for a week has left one person dead and another seriously injured.

A state highway worker spotted a pickup truck Thursday crashed into a culvert off U.S. Highway 50 about 5 miles west of Canon City.

According to the Pueblo Chieftain, the accident is believed to have occurred Oct. 11 when the men were last seen.

The coroner says 59-year-old Ronald Mohr, of Silver Cliff, died of his injuries. Richard Koester, 36, of Westcliffe, was injured. Koester was unable to free himself from the wreckage.

The men were reported missing when they didn't return from a trip to Cripple Creek.
