Michigan resident Charles Sattler accused in deadly fight in Frisco that left Blake Bostic dead

FRISCO, Colo. - A Michigan resident faces murder charges in Summit County after a local man died following a fight at a motel.

Blake Bostic, 38, was pronounced dead on April 14 at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, following several attempts at resuscitation.  He was found by police at the Snowshoe Motel on Main Street in Frisco after the fight, said 5th Judicial District spokeswoman Jill Sarmo.

Two men were arrested at the motel, Sarmo said, although one was subsequently released.

The suspect who remains in custody was identified as Charles Sattler, 42. He is a resident of Oxford, Mich. and is facing charges of second-degree homicide and third-degree assault.

Sattler is being held on a $250,000 bond and is next due in court on April 28. He is being represented by a public defender.

Sarmo reports that a district court judge has sealed the arrest affidavit and issued an order limiting the release of information about the case "until a later date."

Still, anyone who believes they have information about the case is asked to contact Detective Julie Polly with the Frisco Police Department at 970-668-3579970-668-3579.
