The Lower North Forth Fire was 97 percent contained Sunday and all evacuation orders will be lifted Monday morning, Jefferson County Sheriff Ted Mink said.The wildfire that erupted on March 26 initially forced the evacuation of 900 homes. The last remaining evacuees will be allowed to return to about 180 homes at 8 a.m. Monday, Mink said.The fire charred 4,100 acres, damaged 27 homes and claimed three lives.It began when embers from a prescribed burn conducted by the Colorado State Forest Service were reignited by high winds.
