WESTMINSTER, Colo. – A man wanted in Wyoming for murder was arrested early Tuesday morning in Westminster.
Westminster Police arrested Trevor Sanford around 1:45 a.m. in the area of West 120th Avenue and Delaware Street. It's not known what led authorities to that location.
Sanford had escaped capture over the weekend when A SWAT team, tipped off by an informer, searched a Northglenn home but came up empty.
Trevor is being called a “person of interest” in the death of a 75-year-old Laramie, Wyoming woman. Marilyn Kay was found dead inside an Albany County, Wyoming home on Wednesday. It was later determined that she died from blunt force trauma.
