DENVER – Financial services and insurance company Transamerica is expanding its Denver workforce.
The company announced this week that it plans to hire 200 new employees at its downtown offices in 2017. That will bring its total number of Denver-based employees to about 700.
The new jobs are in a variety of fields, including operations, marketing, sales and customer care.
The company said the new hires in Denver are due in part to closing and consolidating some of its other facilities around the country. Nationwide, Transamerica has about 9,000 employees.
