EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. -- Do you want a taste of the action or to be engulfed in it? Being part of the ski industry can be a part-time seasonal gig or a year-round career.
Vail Resorts is hosting a hiring event on November 5 and is looking to fill 2,500 positions at multiple lodges and on the slopes.
Vail is looking for retailers, food and beverage experts, lift operators and other seasonal employees. Take it to the next level and make skiing an aspect of a career in the corporate offices of Vail Resorts. They have positions that require skills in accounting, marketing, and sales, as well.
If you’re applying for a resort position, Vail suggests that you dress professionally, but leave the suit and tie at home. Look nice, but be comfortable.
Even at the corporate headquarters expect to wear jeans most of the days in the office, and expect to stay from a half to a full day, officials said.
