JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — The search for a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman at her place of employment in Jefferson County is on.

"It's like a strobe light, seeing the same face over and over and over and over," the woman, who Denver 7 will not identify because she's the victim of a sexual assault, said.

On Thursday the woman was working in the Mountain Side Estates mobile home office when the man walked in around 5 p.m..

"I've never seen the person before in my life," the victim said.

The suspect, she said, knew her name, then attacked her.

"He wrapped his arms around me, pushed me under the desk, bear hugged me and proceeded to kiss me on the back of my neck and try to attempt to get my clothes off," she said. "I was able to grab the hand receiver of my work phone and I clocked him over the head. He said, 'game over' and took off."

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies say they're looking for a man, described as white and who may be homeless, after the sexual assault last Thursday.

The victim said her attacker walked with a limp, had a pockmarked face and had a tattoo on his neck behind his right ear. Police say he is between 25- and 35-years-old, is about 6-foot-1 and weighs roughly 200 pounds.

Police say the suspect may be local to Mt. Vernon Road and the Golden area.

Anybody with information is asked to call police at 720-913-7867, with reference to case number 17-21824.
