LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. - Investigators say a woman released from jail Thursday night, was arrested again just minutes later.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called out to a crash in the 8300 block of 3rd Street in Wellington Thursday afternoon. Deputies said the driver of a grey Chevrolet Tahoe had hit two parked cars, one of which had two children inside.
The driver, Tanicia Carter, 36, was taken to the hospital for treatment, then arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and careless driving, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.
"Carter was released from the Larimer County Jail at 10:16 p.m. after a bond was posted for her," officials said.
Deputies said 25 minutes later, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office got a call about a disturbance involving a baseball bat.
Deputies say they found a man and his wife who had been assaulted by three others. The man was taken to the hospital, the woman was the owner of the Tahoe involved in the earlier crash.
According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested three people including Carter. This time, Carter was booked on charges of first-degree burglary, theft, assault, criminal mischief and a violation of bail bond conditions, officials said.
