Woman hit by school bus sent to hospital with serious injuries

No children inside of the bus during accident

LOVELAND, Colo. - A woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a school bus near New Vision Charter School in Loveland Wednesday morning.

There were no children on the bus at the time of the accident, Loveland Police spokesman Lt. Rick Arnold told the Reporter Herald.

The bus was turning north onto Denver Avenue when it hit the woman who was crossing the street, Arnold told the newspaper.

The woman was transported to the Medical Center of the Rockies. Her condition is not known at this time.

New Vision Charter School is in the Thompson School District located at 2366 East 1st Street in Loveland.
