DENVER – Good morning, everyone! Here’s what you need to know today on Thursday, August 24.

1. Winning Powerball ticket sold in MA
There was one winner in Wednesday night's massive $758.7 million Powerball jackpot -- in Massachusetts. The winning numbers are 6, 7, 16, 23 and 26, and the Powerball number is 4.

2. Colorado Governor speaks at Telluride summit
Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper will speak at the Telluride Rural Economic Resiliency summit at the Sheridan Opera House Thursday.

3. Boulder Police attempting to ID body
A body of a young man found in a small pond Tuesday has yet to be identified. Police released photos Wednesday of a ball cap in hopes that someone would recognize it. Police are still trying to solve this mystery.

4. Free vet care for the homeless
Aurora Animal Shelter and Dumb Friends League are teaming up to offer mobile spay/neuter clinics at the shelter on the fourth Thursday of every month, starting today. Services are free to homeless pet owners who get a voucher from the Aurora Day Resource Center.

5. Slightly cooler today
we will be slightly cooler in the low to mid 80s with the cloud cover that will be around, along with afternoon storms. Best chance for stronger thunderstorms will be across the eastern plains with an elevated risk of high winds, heavy rain, and hail.
