President Donald Trump announced that he plans to end Obamacare subsidies that helped people pay for health insurance coverage. Nearly 6 million enrollees, or 57 percent, qualify for the cost-sharing payments this year, according to the most recent data from the Department of Health and Human Services.
3. Adult obesity reaches all-time high
Nearly 40% of adults and 19% of youth are obese, the highest rate the country has ever seen in all adults, according to research released Friday by the National Center for Health Statistics.
