The West Metro Drug Task Force arrested four accused heroin distributors during an undercover operation this week.
Investigators were looking into heroin distribution in the Denver area -- specifically Jefferson County -- earlier this month. On Wednesday, the task force arrested four Honduran and Mexican Nationals and seized four ounces of heroin packaged for sale in 220 balloons. Detectives also seized about $4,000 in cash and one vehicle.
The suspects were identified by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office as Miguel Angel Sanchez-Barajas, Jennri Yuvani Martinez, Oscar Mejia and Miriam Salgado-Navarro.
All four suspects faces numerous felony charges, including distribution of controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
