WELLINGTON, Colo. — A Wellington man died in an industrial accident after being impaled by a 16-inch beam Tuesday.
Medical crews rushed to Front Range Steel Company to respond to a workplace accident just after 2 p.m. Crews found a victim, who has since been identified William J. Williams, impaled in the back with a 16-inch beam.
First responders rushed the man to the Medical Center of the Rockies, where he later died.
Authorities have yet to release further details. Front Range Steel Company is a structural steel fabricator.
