DENVER - A water main break outside of Coors Field first delayed -- then canceled -- Saturday’s Colorado Rockies' game against the Cincinnati Reds.
Around 5:30 p.m., repair crews were dispatched to the area of Blake Street and 20th Avenue on a report of a water main break, according to Denver Water.
The Rockies' organization reported that restrooms in the stadium were not working and they had limited concessions because of the water main break.
The first announcement at Coors Field said the game would start 30 minutes late, at 6:40 p.m. Then, just after 6:40, the game was canceled.
A makeup game will be played at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday.
The Rockies announced tickets for Saturday's game would be honored for any remaining game -- ticket value for ticket value.
