A water main break caused water to gush down the street in a Denver neighborhood early Tuesday morning.
A 6-inch pipe broke at West 2nd Avenue and Hazel Court in Denver. That's one block south of Barnum Park, which is located at Federal Boulevard and 6th Avenue.
Denver7 Photojournalist Daryl Orr arrived just before the crews from Denver Water.
Crews had the water turned off by about 6:30 a.m. but there was still standing water in the area.
Five homes are without water.
