DENVER — Parents are turning to a free app out on the market that sends daily tips to them to help build up their child's brain during the first and most important development years.

The app is called Vroom, and it was developed under the Bezos Family Foundation as a nationwide effort to support parents and caregivers to be brain builders. The application takes recent brain research and neuroscience to create more than 1,000 topics and tips to talk about with kids in the development years of 0-5.

Vroom tips can be used at any point in the day, whether that be during bath time, at the park or in the car driving. Developers focus on making the tips easy to integrate into a family's day without requiring extra time to complete them.

The Colorado Vroom chapter is part of the organization Parent Possible.
