AURORA, Colo. - The city of Aurora may let voters decide if the city's breed ban should continue or be rescinded.
Aurora banned pit bulls, the American Staffordshire Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier in 2005.
However, the issue has been debated several times since then.
At a Public Safety Committee meeting this week, four council members agreed to let voters decide on the future of the breed ban, according to the Denver Post.
The committee's recomendations will go before council during a study session, and then full council will vote on whether to put the question on the ballot for this fall.
