Video from unsolved FirstBank robbery released by Boulder police

BOULDER - Hopeful that someone will recognize the suspect, Boulder Police are releasing new video from a February bank robbery.

So far, police say, they have not been able to identify the suspect who robbed a FirstBank located at 4520 Broadway on Feb. 4, 2014. The man never showed a weapon, but demanded money and a teller complied.

The man ran out of the bank's northeast doors and disappeared.

"The suspect was wearing a distinctive bright yellow and black knit cap, which may have been embroidered with the college logo of the Iowa Hawkeyes," police wrote.

The suspect is described as 5-foot-8 to 6-foot tall with a heavy build. He has no facial hair or accent.

In addition to the knit cap, he wore a Columbia-brand nylon shell jacket with dark blue stripes on the arms.
