Victim of fatal shooting found outside Denver Denny's restaurant had been shot in the head

Victim ID'd as Antonio James Hill

DENVER - The murder victim discovered outside a Denver Denny's Sunday had been shot in the head.

The coroner identified the victim on Wednesday as Antonio James Hill, 41. He was found inside a white SUV in the parking lot of the Denny's restaurant at 1605 Federal Boulevard.

Employees of the restaurant called Denver Fire shortly after 6:30 a.m. Sunday after seeing a bullet hole in the driver's side window of the SUV.

Detectives said video surveillance cameras caught the white SUV pulling into the parking spot around 9 p.m. Saturday night.

Police have said they arrested Taylor Ray Bandy, 19, for investigation of first-degree murder.
