COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police have identified the murder victim and alleged killer from a shooting on Saturday.
The victim was 27-year-old Christopher Jackson, of Colorado Springs, who was found dead by police on Saturday when they responded to a report of shots fired at 960 Chapman Drive.
Another victim, a juvenile female, was also found on the scene. She was suffering from a gunshot wound but was not in life-threatening danger.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect, 19-year-old Dominic Daniels, on Tuesday. Daniels is from Colorado Springs and turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday.
Daniels is charged with first-degree murder.
No other suspects are being sought at this time but police say the investigation is still ongoing.
