DENVER - Broncos fans are invited to write messages in chalk to the team at the Denver City and County Building Sunday.

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock proclaimed the days leading up to Super Bowl Sunday as "United in Orange, Time to Ride Week" in the City and County of Denver.

The festivities kick off Sunday with a chalk artist creating a message for the team on Broncos Boulevard.

All Broncos fans are encouraged to come down from 12 to 2 p.m. Mayor Hancock and Gov. John Hickenlooper will lead the effort.

The mayor's office said they expected hundreds of people to attend.

Fans in attendance will receive orange pompoms (while supplies last).

If you can't attend the event on Sunday, the mayor is inviting fans to celebrate United in Orange, Time to Ride Week (Jan. 27 - 31) by posting their best picture or video on his Facebook page.  Each day has a specific theme:

-- Monday - Broncos Touchdown Dance
-- Tuesday - Broncos Pet
-- Wednesday - Broncos Kid
-- Thursday - Broncos Souvenir
-- Friday - Broncos SUPER United in Orange - Show us your best interpretation of Broncos Nation

The city will post the people's videos and photos on the 14th street jumbotrons on Friday, Jan. 31 - including the touchdown dances.
