United Airlines posted a message on Twitter early Thursday saying, "Our system is up. We’re resuming operations for affected flights."
Earlier the airline tweeted: “We’re aware of computer issues affecting some of our flights. We’re working to resolve it. We’ll update as we have more details.”
A check of DIA's website found there are 15 flights delayed and one canceled. Most delays are 10 to 30 minutes.
At 8:30 a.m. the airline’s website did not list any specific problems on its operations page.
DIA's recorded media line update 8:15 a.m. said, "We are experiencing some delaying involving United flights this morning. We are hearing there is some sort of computer issue with United. I don't know the nature of that issue or any specifics on what computer system is having a problem this morning."
"We are seeing some flight delays for United flights, only in the area of 20 to 30 minutes. That's the impact in Denver at this point. We're not seeing delays across the board with all airlines by any means," the airport official said. "Everything looks pretty normal in the terminal, we're not seeing extra lines, just those 20 to 30 minute delays."
According to the Huffington Post, some passengers in New York say they waited more than two hours.
