Here's how to get a free ugly sweater today

DENVER – A lot of us are getting ready for ugly sweater parties. What if you could get that ugly sweater for free? Today is your lucky day.

Uber is pairing with Tipsy Elves to deliver free ugly holiday sweaters Thursday! 

They'll be making deliveries from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Only 500 will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Here’s what you need to do:

• Open your app now and enter the promo code ELVESDEN16 in the Payment tab (or the Promotions tab in the older versions of the app)
• Tap the Tipsy Elves ugly sweater pop-up at the bottom of the Uber app on Thursday, December 8, between 11am–4pm, to request
• Have the older version of the Uber app? Select the ELVES option and request. If you’re connected with a vehicle, up to 2 sweaters will be delivered to your door (or chimney).
