Two rescued at Lake Loveland after water scooter overturns

LOVELAND, Colo. - One woman was rescued and another rescued herself after a water scooter overturned at Lake Loveland Monday night.

Loveland Fire Rescue Authority was called to the lake at 8:30 p.m.

Firefighters rescued one woman from the overturned watercraft and a man who had jumped in from the shore to help, according to the Loveland Reporter-Herald.

A second woman on the water scooter was able to swim to shore.
