COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- For the first time since fire crews freed him from an elevator in Colorado Springs, Donald Trump will revisit the city on his quest for the presidency.

Trump, who opposes Hillary Clinton -- among third-party candidates Jill Stein and Gary Johnson, has campaigned extensively in Colorado, even purchasing fresh advertisements in the area.

During his last visit to Colorado Springs, Trump's misfortunes in an elevator made national news. Firefighters rescued him from the stalled elevator before he chose to blast the Colorado Springs fire marshal.

The Trump campaign never commented on the rescue, or the inflammatory comments afterward.

Trump's event is expected to be held Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in JetCenters of Colorado.
